Gozo Tourism wished to create an enigmatic brand identity to mirror the wonder of their natural and off the beaten track destination. We established the key goals and audiences for Gozo, melding this with eye catching and Insta-worthy images, compelling straplines and messaging, to provide a rich consumer perception of the brand in the development and creation of its identity.
The positioning of the brand as an alluring destination to all travellers looking for slow/immersive travel in an unspoilt setting, rich in history, appeals to a wide demographic. However, particular care was taken to ensure all campaign messaging and creatives were particularly attractive to next-generation travellers such as, Millennials and Gen Z audiences, in the aim of helping future-proof tourism to the destination right from its launch to market.
A fully integrated and dynamic campaign across the UK and Europe was undertaken, not only planned to establish and elevate the brand, but to educate the consumers on Gozo’s offerings and to place Gozo advantageously, with a precisely timed European launch, at the forefront of consumer’s minds as Covid travel restrictions ease.
